THE 66TH CONVENTION - The 66th Minnesota North District Lutheran Laymen's League Convention will be held on Sept. 12th at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 4656 State Hwy. 200 NW, Walker, MN. Registration for $20 will be from 2:30p.m. - 3:00p.m. There will be an evening meal with Pastor Ken Klaus speaking. The Lutheran Hour Rally is Sept. 13, 2009 at 3:00p.m. at the High School auditorium, 2 blocks off Hwy 34W, 400 N. Huntsinger Ave, Park Rapids, MN

GRIEF SUPPORT GROUP - Sanford Hospice will be sponsoring a five-week Grief Support Group beginning on Tues., Sept. 1, 2009. Meetings are open to the public and there is no charge to attend but pre-registration is required. Please call 507/223-5884 with any questions or to register.
