Nicolai LWML met on Wednesday, September 1st at 12:30 p.m. Hostesses were Darlyne Tollakson and Muriel Gubrud.

Pastor Muehlberg led us in a Bible Study. The meeting was called to order and roll call was taken with 9 present and 16 absent. The Secretary's report was read and approved. The Treasurer's report was read and approved with a balance on hand of $921.48. Emily reported that she transferred $1513.44 from Thrivent into a savings account at the Credit Union.

The bake sale will be held on Sat., Sept. 11th in Central Park from 8-4. Janet, Emily, Darlyne and Candy volunteered to be at the park the day of the sale.

Jule Schlecht reported that Cheryl Ferguson would not be able to talk to our group this year, but would gladly come after the 1st of the year.

Christian Life decided that they could work with only two members until the end of the year. October 3rd will be LWML Sunday. Pastor will be asking for volunteers and will let us know what he need s for that day. October 6th will be pickup day for the Dakota Boy's Ranch.

Alda Lueders checked with the hospital in Canby to see if they were in need of premature baby gowns, and they were not. She said she could sew some if Sioux Falls needs them. Julie Schlecht will call to find out.

 Mites were collected. Julie gave a devotion on God is in the details. We sang "How Great Thou Art", and we closed with the Lord's Prayer.
